I certify that from a letter of the Comptroller dated 16 May covering a Receipt of Elias Habersham, [Doctor] of the [undecipherable] for Savannah in Georgia, said Habersham has applied to the incidental and contingent Expences of the War Department, and which he has discounted of the Monies arising from Duties and Imposts and tonnage, the Sum of twelve Dollars for which he is to be accountable, in pursuance of a Warrant to be issued in his Favour by the Secretary of War, to which and Receipt so to be annexed agreeably to the Communication of Comptroller.
