D of War Accountants O[cut off] Middletown May 16 1795 Conn't Sir John Chester Sup't Weath[cut off] field will pay you the sum of two hundred ten dollars and 70 [cut off] for the pay yourself and Company for the month of March 1795 also the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars for the recruiting service for which sums you are held accountable and will give him duplicates rec eipts for the same — I am Sir &c— William Hammon[cut off] Jasipho Nourse Esq^r D of War Accountants O[cut off] May 19^th 1795 Sir The Trans Joshua Wor- cham by the Muster of the Pennsylvania line appears to have enlisted himself as a private Soldier in Cap[cut off] Nices Company for the War on the 19^th March 177[cut off] and was appointed a Corporal in April 1790. It also appears by a Copy of a return now on file in the Office that the State of Pennsylvania did include in their charges against the United States the[cut off]
