You will receive from Edward Carrington Esq. the sum of one hundred and four dollars for your pay from January 1st to [undecipherable] 30th 1795 inclusive for which sum you will sign dup[licate] receipts —
You will please make out your subsistence Account at the Contract price where you have been stationed and attest to it, likewise you will have annexed to [the] Account a Certificate from the Contractor Certifying that you have drew no part of your rations included in the amount and transmit it to this Office whence [the] amount thereof will be remitted to you in the usual man-ner. —
