Inclosed is the return of Ordnance and Stores for the Month of April. we have finished twenty three Carriage bodys for the [strikethrough: six] Pounders. and four pair of Limbers. twenty one pairs more are finished excepting the Iron work. seventy two wheels are Made for the Six Pounders. I have sent to New York for two Tons of Iron suitable for the hire. I shall not have the boxes put into the hubs till the last of work. That they may have as much time as possible to dry before the Carriages are finished. I shall exert my self all in my power to have the whole Completed as soon as possible.
