Sir,
Your Letter of the 24th Ultimo is come to hand, and I have to thank You for Your attention to my drafts. as expressed in your Letter.
I am now sending to Fort Washington Three Boats Loaded with whiskey & Mess: Stores. [undecipherable] Viz: Scythes, Grass Hooks, Axes, Horse shoes, Waggons, Bags Tar and two hundred Common tents. Twenty Horseman tents. of those that were delivered here by the Militia Army. The Marquee for Genl Wayne is also sent forward.
I have this day Laid out an encampment. for one hundred and fifty recruits enlisted in the few days at Genl Morgans encampment. those recruits Added. to these inlisted here during the Latter part of the [strikethrough: Winter] [undecipherable] to near 300. men. for which Clothing is immediately wanted especially Linen Overalls.
The scale beams. fitted out with dishes & weights are now going forward to the Commissary Genl
