D R O May 1 1795 Sir I enclose to you a letter from this office to the two Agents who were engaged in 1794 to purchase the spirits which might be wanted for the Western Military supply of 1795 also the answer of one of them Col Presley Nevill. These are sent for your information: It is presumed that of Col Thomas Marshall the Agent for the purchase in Kentucky will not vary materially.
I request the favor of your to consider the subject and to furnish a note containing, 1st the whole quantity which will be wanted for the Western Military supply of [1795?] 2dly the portions thereof which you will desire to have delivered at Fort Pitt, Wheeling, Fort Washington, Fort Steuben, or any other place and 3dly, the time when men desire such portions delivered at these places respectively.
