I have received your Letter of the 18th Instant and shall communicate its Contents to Colo Butler on his return from Genl Morgans Cantonment where he now is assisting in the Recruiting business in which he has been tolerably successfull.
Cloathing for those Recruits is much wanted there is not one piece of linen Recruits in the Store & a number of Young men that have Inlisted as Dragoons are almost altogether without Cloathing or Equipments.
Major DeButts is arrived & will Embark on the 27th.
