[undecipherable] off Connecticut to be transmitted to you the Sum of Seven hundred, [undecipherable] Dollars & [undecipherable] into [undecipherable] for the pay of Yourself and recruits from the [undecipherable] of [undecipherable] 1794 to the 21^st of March 1795 incl. for which you are accountable for the disbursement thereof, Agreeably to the enclosed Muster Roll — It is intended that in future the Officers must make out their own pay rolls & transmit them to this office with the Muster Roll every two months, when they will be examined, [undecipherable] the money transmitted in the usual [undecipherable] — I therefore enclose you a pay Roll for yourself & recruits amounting to the above sum, which will serve you as a form — your letter of the 2^d Inst to the [undecipherable] has come to hand, with its enclosures; your bounty account will be examined as soon as possible & the amount passed to your Credit I am Sir I's ob.
