Your letter of the N[—]
to the late Accountant I have this day received,
you mention that you have not received the money [re-]
-mitted from this Office. to John Chester Esqo fo[r the]
pay of yourself Ensign Peter Trothing[ham] and [to]
the 28.th of February 1793 incl. I think it Advis[e]d
you to receive the money and pay it to such [of those]
as are present and are entitled to receive it — [re-]
-spect to the pay being made up for the men [th-]
[tha]t was owing to the Remark not being properly made [on]
the muster Roll — you remarked [undecipherable: opposite?] their names [th-]
at they had not joined the rendezvous; therefore had[s]
[no] Idea from that remark that they had Deserted. I ha[ve]
[wr]ote to Ensigns Trotthingham that you have received [the]
pay — therefore he will probably call on you to pay [it]
