[in] the State of Georgia to [whom he is held accountable] — Accountant to the War Department Comptrollers Office] Treasury Department, Comptrollers Office 18^th April 1795. Sir, Enclosed is a receipt of John Habersham, dated March 4. 1795. for eighteen dollars & Seventy five Cents, discounted by him out of monies in his hands as Collector, for the purpose of defraying the incidental and contingent expenses of the Department of War in Georgia.— This receipt is to be annexed to a warrant of the Secretary at war on the Treasurer, in favour of said Habersham who is to be charged and held accountable for the amount, in the books of your office.— I am Sir, very respectfully Your Obed^t Servant Henry Kuhl Comptr pro tempore William Simmons Esq^r.
