Sir, In my Letter of the 10^th I advised you of my Draft in favour of M^r John Irwin Merch^t & informed you of my intention of [strikethrough: Drawing on you in favour of two the — merch^ts] of this Town, these Gentlemen are now on their way to Philadelphia each with a Draft on you in their favour. Viz Abner Barker one thousand Dollars Dated 11^th April 1795. at five days sight, William Christy one thousand Dollars Dated the 13^th at ten days sight, & I shall to morrow draw on you in fav^r of Robert Culbertson, for one thousand Dollars Viz of two 500 Each. at ten days sight to enable him to discharge the acc^ts for Waggons & Bar Iron Contracted for by him agreeable to my instructions for and on acc^t of the United States. Several of the Boats contracted for are delivered & the whole of them together with every other Article that I have been instructed to Provide is in great forwardness.
