Sir, In my Letter of the 10^th I advised you of my Draft in favour of M^r John Irwin Merch^t & informed you of my intention of [strikethrough: Drawing on you in favour of two other Merch^ts] of this town, these Gentlemen are now on their way to Philadelphia each with a Draft on you in their favour. W^m & Oliver Barker one thousand Dollars Dated 11^th April 1795 at four days Sight. William Christy one thousand Dollars Dated the 14^th at ten days Sight. — And I shall to morrow draw on you in fav^r of Robert Culbertson, for one thousand Dollars [undecipherable] 500 Each at ten days Sight to enable him to discharge the acc^t for Waggon & Cart Iron Contracted for by him Agreeable to my Instructions for and on acc^t of the United States. Several of the Boats Contracted for are delivered & the whole of them together with very other Article that I have been instructed to Provide is in great forwardness.
