Sir
I have recieved your two letters of the 11th Instant, the one enclosing a letter to Capt. Bickeonat & informing me of Some Articles of Cloathing &c. at Phildelphia the property of Lieut. Monnot which I shall endeavour to have brought to this place & sent forward as you have directed.
A few days after the Reciept of your Letter of the 14th Ultimo enclosing one adresed to James O'Hara respecting Indian Goods his property he arrived & on Receiving your letter he was of Opinion that there could be no impropriety in sending the whole of the Indian Goods to Fort Washington & particularly as he knew by his Communications with the Commander in Chief that the whole wanto to be wanted. I further that as he was on his way to Philadelphia would Complicate the sales of the whole at the Treasury, or consider the Articles not wanted as at his own [undecipherable: fashion] risque & Charge & therefore the whole of the Articles were sent forward on the [undecipherable]
