[James Blanchois] [April 17, 1795] [undecipherable] Sir Apr. 17. 1795 I rec'd your letter of yesterday & in answer thereto inform you that M. William Weeks, ^late Pay M. stands ch'd on the Books of the Old Pay Office with a considerable sum of money which appears to be unaccounted for by him. his accounts you say were deliv'd to M. W^m. Bedlow late Agt P.M. and forwarded by him to the Pay M. Gen. office — examination has been made for them and cannot be found — should they not have been rendered [strikethrough: [undecipherable]] and are still in the possession of M. Weeks, on his rendering them to this Office they will be examined and the amount thereof passed to his credit.
