Registers Office 10th April 1795.
Sir
I return herewith the several Statements that I obtained of your predecessor in Office, for the purpose of having them entered up so as to conform with the accounts as they are stated to this day on the Books of the Treasury; this has been done upon a principle which you will find explained in my Letter of the 9th December 1788, and the subsequent arrangements at the Treasury in relation to the Old Accounts with which you are well acquainted [undecipherable] preclude the neces[sity of] additional rem[arks].
I am with much respect
Sir
Your most Obedient &
Most Humble Servt.
