Inclosed is the return of Ordnance and Stores for the Month of Feby.
we have finished nine of the Carriage bodys for the six pounders and the tenth is nearly finished, there is three pair of Limbers for 6 pounders finished, and stuffed for a number more, the articles on hand for the nine having [undecipherable] [undecipherable] Bouchon &c amount to $625.15.10 and must the Secretary of War for teen or twelve hundred Dollars more, which is wanted to pay the workmen. I have paid some money to the workmen on account which I shall take receipts for, and send them on as soon as May be. it is very necessary there should be another [undecipherable] rather than as there is but one and it is only from the Shops that it not convenient. Please to inform me if you approve of haveing another
