[undecipherable] War Department March 1^st 1793 Sir, (When orders were given for every [undecipherable] the oak in certain frames of The frigates, that part [which] is here distinguished by the name of Deadwood was not mentioned to cause it was apprehended [undecipherable: that enough] of that sort required for that use could not be obtained. — It is now understood, that such live oak is attainable, and in consequence it has been determined to use it for those members of the frigates which are called the Deadwood. To this you will please to attend.
