I have this day examined the rolls of the Detachment of Militia under the Command of Lieut Jeremy h Guillien emplaced between the 1st August and 30th Novt 1794 inclusive the amount of Pay being, Three hundred and sixteen Dollars is paid on the letter of Attorney of said Lt Guillien in fav'r of [undecipherable] Messrs Thomas Hirt and [undecipherable] to George Lanman [undecipherable] their over— Lieut Guillien is held Accountable for the disbursement there=of agreeably to a receipt roll which I have the honor to enclose to him under cover to your Excellency with a request that you will be pleased to transmit the enc=losure to him with your order to have the receipts taken and transmitted to me in the way that you think best
