Peter Davies of the Late Artificers has made application to me for Clothing which appears to be due him, & has your Certificate of the Articles which he wishes to obtain Viz a Coat one Vest one Hat; I did not conceive I could give out those Articles, Unless your wish, he is very Poor, & cannot go to Philadelphia without more cost then the Articles are worth; if you will please to inform if you wish me to give out the Articles, will thank you
