Sir, Pittsburg 20 Feb^y 1795 I have herewith inclosed a General return of Stores commencing the 1^st July & ending the 31 December together with a statement of whisky received, forwarded to the several Posts, Issued at this place & on hand, commencing 29 April 1794 & ending 31 Dec^r inclusive. — An Abstract of Expenditures an Q^r Masters Department at this Post & its dependencies commencing 8^th July 1794, and ending 27 January 1795 inclusive, A Similar abstract of this day transmitted to the Comptroller of the Treasury accompanied by the relative Vouchers & a Duplicate of the return of Stores — An Abstract of Expenditures in establishing & Supporting the Ohio Mail together with the corresponding Vouchers is also enclosed herewith, for assuming, that it might be agreeable to you to inspect a Statement of that business previous to its being submitted to the present Post Master General. You will please to observe that the accounts of the Master & crew of Boat N^o 3 is not included in the Statement. Major [undecipherable] on his way to Head Quarters engaged to pay off and transmit the Act of N^o 3, his being detained by the ice has prevented it arriving so early as I expected as soon as it comes to hand it shall be sent forward to the Post master General.
