Sir Your lette of the 11th Currt
I have receiv'd & am to request you to consider the first Return was made by mere conjecture as by my Pr of 30 December in order to give you some Idea of what Stores were delivered by the New Jersey troops. The last being made as near as possible is the one which was intended to be considered as nearly accurate as possible in except the first — the number of Musket ought to have been 806, & the late 822. The difference having been returned after the first was made the cause of which was that I knew nearly that number was in the Neighbourhood which were not handed into the publick Store but was confident would be — with respect to the ballance due me next week will be in Good time. I am Sir with great Esteem
Your most hum. Serv.
