Document 1795The Treasurer has remitted to Nathaniel Gorham a sum that will be transmitted to Captain Frye, being the balance of his pay from the date of his acceptance through December 1794. An additional sum will be transmitted for the pay of Frye's recruits from the dates of their enlistments through December 1794. When a recruit makes his mark on the receipt, it must be witnessed by a person of respectability.
