Likewise please to inform me — if there are [undecipherable] a number of Off[undecipherable] in the same situation with Cap[undecipherable] Harris as to Depreciation — you recollect the Case — his pay was in the hands of a pay Master & Returned in '80 I think — so he can have only the ^value Specie of the money sealed — He was of Maryland, & now wants Depreciation made up — If there are a number of Officers in the same situation it will influence the Comm itta of Claims in deciding.
