give you a more particular account of the business I am Your Most Hum^l Serv^t Peter Hunt Col S Hodgdon                           Lancoster Feb^y 7 1795      Sir I have added the remainders of the Stores to the return of what was rec^d. from the Jersey Militia; and have found there to be in their possession Havons as if received within the most of the Tents Musket Bayonets Cartouch boxes Belts an advance up to the publick Store hapen on the root to Fort Pitt, the remainder [strikethrough: hap] are in the country and I am informed mostly with the officers waiting for orders for a Depo to from what I can hear think it would be of advantage to call them in without loss of time as many of the articles will receive considerable injury from want of attention — I am with resp^t Your Mo^st Hum^t P Hunt --- Sam^l            Feb 10 1795 S Hodgdon Sir      Your letter of the 4^th Inst^r I have received & am to request you to consider the first Return is a made by mere conjecture as by my 18^th of 30 December more to give you some Idea of what Stores were delivered by the New Jersey troops — The last being made as near as possible is the one which was intended to be considered as nearly accurate as possible in excepto the first — this number of Muskets ought to have been 806 & the late 822.
