Sir.
W. O. Decr 30th 1794
I have this day received notice from Samuel Breck Esqr that the Boston Manufacturing Company have ready for delivery, about 1200 pieces of sail cloth. It may appear expedient, now that we are at peace, to transport one sixth of it to each of the Naval Agents. You will be pleased however to take order for having it received under the eye of an Inspector, in such way as you may judge best.
The risk of fire in one place, and in a town with so many wooden houses as Boston, & in the Winter season seems to merit remembrance.
