I observe by your favor of the 8^th inst. and observe by it as well as by General [undecipherable] the 26^th of November that I am to receive the Military Stores from the Militia of this State — The Tents and Arms having been exposed to a heavy Rain cannot be received until the Tents are dried and the Muskets & Bayonets put in as good Order as can be done here for which purpose I expect a Magazin or two [undecipherable] — Should you think it necessary they can be Oiled.
