Accountants Office December 10^th 1794 Sir I now transmit duplicates of my letters of 27^th November and 8^th [undecipherable: Inst.]— I have received your letter of 4^th November with Estimates and Muster and pay rolls of the Militia and Scouts employed in Georgia in 1792 and part of the present year, which I have with your communications laid before the Secretary of War for his consideration — I request you will be pleased to obtain and to furnish to this Department information of the nature of services performed by those companies or detachments, which the pay of the Officers has not been calculated, owing to their rank bearing no proportion to the number of Men they actually commanded; whether they served distinctly or in conjunction with any other troops, or whether on sudden alarms or on regular tours of duty &c.
