I have the honor to transmit you herewith the draft of the 44 gun Frigate to be built at
Altho' the draft is a little different from the mould yet I request that the former may be adhered to. The following will explain the difference—
The Height of the Wing Transom & all the others placed as on the Half sent forward with the moulds, The Wing Transom instead of rounding up six inches to be made as straight as the piece will admit of on the upper side the aft side by the mould.
The distance & place of the aftermost transom on the draft and all the other & the distance & size as before directed.

I have received your favor of the 18th Ultimo — strong objections are made by those interested to Mr Humphreys to go to Norfolk — it is said that Mr Morgan may be there in about a month — The Park for the Wood Cutters in Georgia has been provided — The Treasury will furnish the Money — If you want more, transmit an Estimate of the object & the amount to Treasury & a copy thereof to me & it will be furnished immediately.
