Majr Jas Dunhams receipts to P Nevill from pay of himself & Capt Alstone’s Troop 224 - for pay of a detacht the Jersey Cavalry 452 [Total] $676 Pay Roll Colo Presley Nevill Pay Master Genl Militia Army Sir, Pay Major James Dunham Two Hundred and twenty four dollars for One Months pay for Major Dunham & for Lieut. Alstons Pay Roll agreably to amount herein stated, for services on the expedition against the Insurgents of Pensylvania and this shall be your warrant for the same Henry Lee Pay Roll of a Detachment of New Jersey Cavalry in the Service of the United States commanded by Major James Dunham, for part of the months of October & November 1794.
