I have herewith transmitted to you a Return of the work repaired and other work performed, with the armory Store, on hand and Tools and materials in use in the armory at this place for the month of October — You will also have to receive my Pay Rolls and [undecipherable] for said month, the whole of the money amounting to Eleven hundred and twenty Dollars 84 Cents which I have [undecipherable] to me — Since my return from Philadelphia 5 of the hands have been discharged from the Armory and two have been added they are in some degree Skilled in the Smiths business and have [undecipherable] dollars [undecipherable] Month allowed them — I am confident that the Public business will be carried on the coming Year at this place I am making arrangements for the supply of the Men with Provisions, and other measures which may be wanting — If any thing contrary to this should be desired please advise me of it
