[Received from State Dep’t Nov. 24.1894 R.P.O.401310] Sam.l Hodgdon Quarter Master [undecipherable] Sir I am directed by the Department of War to apply to you for the Means of conveying the Baggage of invalids of my detachment to Pittsburgh. It is necessary that I should be furnished with two Waggons for that purpose one being insufficient as the invalids are numerous–you will therefore inform me by the Bearer whether I can have the Waggons by six o’clock tomorrow morning_ as I must make my report by this evening.
