C.] November 12 1794 Sir I have the honor to represent that by the general requisition for the Naval armament, each Ship is to be furnished with a fire Engine two dozⁿ Leather buckets &c &c. As the fire Engines & Buckets may be of use in the yards, where the Ships are building to extinguish fires &c. It will be necessary that the size or dimensions, or a drawing of the Engine should be furnished, that measures may be taken to have them procured. Enclosed you will receive a copy of a circular letter to the Naval agents originally intended to be forwarded for your inspection. it had been mislaid & is now sent for that purpose.
