The ten Carriages for three pounders that I mentioned when I sent on the last Return can not be finished at present for want of Iron — in Time for the Wheels, I have sent to New York for it and have been expecting it for some time, I have sent to Boston for Six Tons of Iron which will be here in a few days for the 6 pound Carriages. We are now at work on the Carriages for the French Howitzers and hope to have a number finished by next month to be inserted in the next Return. I am Sir Your Obedient Servant John Bryson D.
