Norton B. Tobin, namely that the Paymaster of the Troops in Georgia not having settled his accounts to [undecipherable] cannot be ascertained whether he may not have paid the full balance of M^r. Tobin's pay and probably he may have advanced money to him for recruiting. An Agent is since sent into that State from whom information is shortly expected of the accounts of the Troops— In the mean time the following Statement will show the situation of Lieu^t. Tobin's account as it stands in my view which will be conclusive provided it shall appear that he is not accountable for any further monies viz— The United States D^r to H. Norton B. Tobin deceased For his pay from 1^st Jan^y to 1^st March 1792 inclusive 2 Months 3 days @ $22.50½ D.
