[Charleston Nov^r 1 — 94] [to the [undecipherable] Capt] [Copy] Charleston November 1^st 1794 Sir I now Inclose you the Muster Roll of the Troops under my Command for the Month of October — I have not yet ben Favoured with one line from General Fince or you — since I received the Dispatches Delivered one by Lieut [strikethrough: Cor-tain the Troops first arrived here — I have wrote by every opertunity — and] given every Information in my Power — fully stated the Difficulties I Labour under — and sent Returns and Muster Rolls — as my Letters went by Post — and allso by Vessels bound to New york and Philladel­phia who have arrived safe there — I Cannot suppose they have all Miscaried — I must take the Liberty of again mentioning my very Destressing Situation — no [undecipherable] to supply Either Provision or any other Necessary for the Troops — no money to purch-ase either — nor for any purpose whatever — but the Recruiting Party — M^r.
