Your Letter of the 25 Instant, Inclosing accounts of Cloathing &c. together with a Waiter, and a Bottle, addressed to Capt Rowe in Richmond —
I am will pleased to find the Cloathing is coming forward, as it is much wanted, but am sorry that the many calls on you for Money has prevented the Remittance you Intended —
Pamphlet the Armourer is Engaged at me here all commencing 25 of August 1794 at Eighteen Dollars Pr Month, at the end of that term he goes to Philadelphia for his Wife, in the mean time he desires me to Request you to pay him Ten Dollars, being all he can show you at Present — I have Pleasure in teting a Keeping you of a Draft on you in favour of my God Friend Capt James R. Brien for Five hundred Dollars, dated the 25 Instant payable at ten days fight —
The number of Troops at the Upper Parts of the Ohio being greatly Augmented, beyond what was Expected, at the time that Establishment was Appointed, I trust that, that Article, will far for that I at present Supply, and particularly the provisions and [undecipherable] proper, and New Metals are so [undecipherable] wanted —
