It was after Dark the last evening when I received yours of the 21st Instant with the Dispatches attending it, and the dispatches [strikethrough: and] got forward very Early this morning, It is true that the Dispatches brought by Mr Sloner on Sunday afternoon did not go forward untill Early on Monday morning which was owing to my not having it in my power to procure a person who had a horse of his own to proceed and my not having a Saddle horse at my command, Since that however [strikethrough: a] Delay has taken place and I expect from now in Such a Situation with respect to Saddle Bale a moments necessary Delay with takes place hereafter and remain
