Your favours of the 18th Current was handed me yesterday morning about 9 o'Clock as I was on my way into the Country to Conduct Suttle for the Army, had I been at home I should with pleasure have Complyed with your request in taking from your Depot the Dispatches [undecipherable] had & have forwarded them to the [undecipherable], but their not being the ones and I not having a Surity order Signed I thought it best to let your [undecipherable] as his leave appeared [undecipherable]. Such you in my part [undecipherable] that in future I Shall be in every way agreeable to your arrangements to form and Such Dispatches as you may forward without Delay, and have only to request your information respecting the kind of the [undecipherable] as it is a new thing to me whether it is by the month or day you pay them and the Wages allowed them by your that Serjants regulated [undecipherable] accordingly, I Shall at all times be Disposed to render every Service in my power and am Sir
