I have another package nearly ready to send to you. I have written this day to the hon. the Secretary of War, & requested him to forward to me, on the receipt of my letter, six thousand dollars for contingent expences at this garrison. I find it impossible to send my vouchers to you as fast, and as regularly arranged, as I could wish. — I have not yet had time to look particularly at the vouchers you sent back to me.
