Flandin, I have thought proper should be communicated to you — Yr — [undecipherable] Stagg Jun Sam^d Hodgdon Esq^r --- [Copy] Albany Sep^t: 24 1794 Sir, I have had the pleasure of sending a letter to you not long ago concerning [undecipherable] the lot on which the Public Store stands. These business are over now. not only the lots are sold, but the store it self. for Eight hundred & twenty three pounds all upon this condition, that I shall keep possession of it still. until the first day of May next, at which time I shall remove the Public Stores; took place on the 15^th instant. I would wish now dear Sir, that this letter should be communicated to the honourable the Secretary of War, who will I dare say. act as he thinks proper. on the occasion and as I wish to avoid any reproach in the line of my duty.
