Brigader General White of the New Jersey Cavalry has applied to me to know if any Marquees for the State had been sent on as Colonel Mentges & found him that Three in said Regiment to the place for this State One for the Governor One for General Bloomfield one for General White and as they [undecipherable] not come on he Requests they may be forwarded as speedily as possible to Carlisle,
I trust that my request for Stores to be delivered to Mr. Jackson of the 4th Inst. has been Complied with as my Arrangements with the different Counties make it necessary that I should have the Quantity of such Articles Required to put them in a State of Service equal Distribution As your Statement warns me of a deficiency of horsemens Tents Knapsacks may Require the favor of you to forward on what will make up my Order as fast as they come to your hands will you please to furnish me
a Returns of the different Arms & Stores which you have supplied on my different Orders distinguishing in whose favour or to whom delivered — As you so well know the dilemma I shall be in on failure of any of the Articles requested of you, it will be an Appollagy for my Renewed [undecipherable] for your Compliance with my Requests would rende greatly Oblige
