Jackets Should be of Sufficient Length to Protect the Bowels, Etc.
Document 1794As many jackets and trousers should be forwarded to Fort Cumberland as Gale is able to transport by October 15th. The jackets are to be made of the same material as sailor jackets without skirts but of sufficient length to protect the bowels. They should be addressed to General Miller, the acting Quartermaster General.
