Stores, or Agent for procuring certain Supplies for the War Department, has been debited with the sum of Doll.s 24,786 31/100 being the amount of sundry Advances made [strikethrough: him, previous to the] July last on Warrants of the Secy of War, as particularized in the enclosed Abstract, and of which you will be pleased to take note accordingly.
I also transmit a Rec.t of Nicholas Hoffman for Doll.s 1500 & one of John Habersham for Doll.s 2744. to be passed to the credit of Mr. Hodgdon & to the debit of the respective Accounts, in your Books, if not already entered.
