Letter from the Governor of Maryland, relating to recent riots and other disturbances in Washington and Allegany Counties in his state. The rebellion is linked to western Pennsylvania's Whiskey Rebellion. In the words of Governor Lee, "they have made declarations in favour of a Revolution."
