Sir I have your two favours of the 11 Current by which I am instructed to furnish to the New Jersey militia now assembling at this place and Sunter what military stores and other things they may want during their Stay at this post This business I can very conveniently undertake as all these Stores &c are now in my possession and Stores I shall begin to Issue arms &c to morrow morning you may rely on the strictest attention being paid to your orders in transacting the business by me in this place; and should I be called from home which may happen as I am appointed to the Command of one of our Battalion of Militia Moore Furman Esq'r will superintend that business and see that it is con=ducted with in a proper manner during my absence I should any other business occur it will be carefully attended to you will in my Name
