Pittsburgh 5^th Septem.^r 1794 Dear Sir, I have received your letters of the 29 Ultimo & I have also received of Samuel Fisher a Packet addressed to the D.M.Genl. and in order to enable me to give Fisher a Satisfactory Acknowledgment for Delivery it became necessary to open it in his Presence — [strikethrough: Do 15000] I found its Contents to agree with your letter Inclos'd in the Packet address'd to the Quarter Master General, the whole Shall be forwarded to its Destination in a few days by a Safe Conveyance — [Dollar 15000+] A Number of Boatmen, Pack Horsemen, and others having Arrived from Fort Washington, to whom considerable Sums are due, and having no Cash on hand, I am under a Necessity of taking Money from Capt James G.
