I have received your favour of the 19th Inst— I am highly in your having such Prompt attention to the Bags, I shall be prepared to send them forward the moment the arrive —
I expected from you a General return of Clothing for this Year. In that case I could have made Arrangement for their transportation with more exactness —
As there is a Probability of the Troops at the upper posts on the Ohio being augmented, will it not be better that you should have the accounts in order that the freight arrangements may be more got for Clothing. [C]ol Howes Detachments are here I wished to be Clothed —
