R.P.O. 401310.] [undecipherable] Aug[undecipherable] 1794 --- Lamberton 28^th August 1794 Sir, Your favor of 26^th current came duly to hand, from which observe that you wish purchased Twelve Horses from five to eight years of age, [strikethrough: they are no particular descriptions] not — I believe that no place in the United States raises more nor better Horses than within a few miles of this, and suppose the number you want may be procured at the Same time please to recollect that a quality as I imagine will be wanted have in price risen considerably. — Should you wish them purchased by me, please to signify the size and price as near as may be for my Government. — I am Sir, with esteem, Your most hum.
