Accountants Office August 23, 1794 Sir The bearer hereof M^r Thomas Fichn will deliver you the sum of Two hundred dollars, being for the use of the recruiting service for which you will please sign receipts to be accountable for the due application thereof. you will also receive from M^r Fichn fifty eight dollars and 90 Cents, being for pay of the recruits under your command to the 6^th July inclusive, which you will pay agreeably to the inclosed pay roll taking the receipts as heretofore ordered.
