Philadelphia August 22d 1794 Sir, Agreeable to my promise in the last I send forward, fifteen thousand Dollars in Post notes, Viz One hundred of 600 Dollars each, and One One hundred of 50 Dollars each, the particular Risque and Difficulty in getting forward money at this time, Determined in the propriety of sending such large notes, the Packages being of course smaller, in Case of necessity may be more easily Concealed, I hope however the Frenzy of the People will not lead to Interception of this kind, yet due Caution is Certainly proper. The news of every kind you have in the papers, that accompanies this, you will therefore see that French Liberty is secured such a Train of successes, is unparrallel in history, Poland, now Commands the attention & the best wishes of all true Patriots, her Conflict will be severe, but her Success, will be Certain.
