W^r D. Accountants Office August 11^th 1794 Sir I find that on the 13^th February 1792. Daniel Hager Esq^r was paid the sum of twenty seven dollars on the order of Daniel Constable for publishing in the South Carolina Gazette an advertisement from the War Department dated August 6^th 1792, this I presume to be in discharge of that part of the claim now presented arising in the Year 1792. A difference appears in the two accounts the one paid is charged in gross at three dollars for each insertion the one now presented is specifically stated at two dollars 87 Cents for the first insertion and one dollar 75 Cents for repeating amounting to Sixteen dollars and 25 Cents, it is therefore presumable that the account paid was over charged.
